How to remove blackheads

Blackheads are clogged hair induced bumps that appear on your skin. They derive their name ‘’blackheads’’ due to their darkish appearance. They are usually formed on the face and very mild some running to the back and shoulders. They are uncomfortable and very difficult to handle more so when they attack the nose.

Causes of blackhead

Blackheads are formed due to clogging that appears in the opening of hair follicles under your skin. Hair contains sebaceous glands under the skin that help in keeping the skin soft. When dead skins and oil collects at the skin opening, a swelling like structure called comedones is formed. When the bumps open and is exposed to the air it is called a blackhead because once it is exposed to the air they turn black in color.

The symptoms of blackhead

Due to their dark color, blackheads are very easy to spot on the skin. Unlike pimples, blackheads are not painful, and they are somewhat raised. Pimples are on the other side formed when bacteria that causes the inflammation and redness attacks the air blockage.

The use of Cinnamon and Honey to Remove Blackheads

Honey being a natural anti-infection is a very useful product in blackhead remedy. The honey helps in opening the blocked skin pores by removing the dirt from it. To remove it using cinnamon and honey, you will need to add ½ a teaspoon of cinnamon powder mixed with a tablespoon of honey.

Mix the two till they foam a paste like a mixture then apply it to the area affected with a blackhead. Rub it with the help of your fingers in circular form 2-3 times. Wait for about 1-2 minutes then use lukewarm water to clean it for a complete blackhead removal.

Using Egg White Mask to remove blackhead

Blackhead can be removed by using egg white mask. The egg white is very helpful in tightening skin pores and pulling out of clogged dirt that hence gives you clear and smooth skin. Removal of blackhead using egg white mask can be done by using two eggs separating the yolk from the egg and using the white only. The separated white egg can be applied to the affected area using a thin layer.

You then give it a 2-3 minute wait for it to dry completely. After it has dried, you use the remaining white to apply another layer. The second layer requires a 10-15 minute to settle down.  To know whether it has completely dried, you can feel the tightness on your face. When the face is completely dry, wash your face with lukewarm water.

Mud Pack as a Blackhead Remover

There are different types of corrective mud packs that are available in the market in a powdered form. To clear the oily pores, every mad pack is specialized to remove unwanted build-up and clear the oily pores.

Use fruit vinegar to make a mixture with the powdered dust stir till it makes a paste then apply it on the blackheads on the affected areas. Give it 10-15 minutes as it dries and after that use lukewarm water to cleanse it away and removal of the blackhead.

Remove Blackheads by using Oatmeal and Yogurt

Mixing yogurt and oatmeal can create a blackhead-blocking formula. The yogurt has lactic acid, and oatmeal has quieting qualities. The two combined produces one of the best home remedies for blackhead removal. Add three tablespoons yogurt and mix it with oats, olive oil, and lemon juice.

Mix them till you form a paste mixture. With the help of your fingers or brush, apply the paste-like mixture to the affected area. Give it 10 minutes before washing it away with lukewarm water to remove the blackhead.

Try using Fenugreek Paste for Blackhead Removal

You can use verdant green mixed with water to form the paste. However, this sounds unbelievable. Apart from its numerous health benefits, fenugreek has showed overwhelming results for blackhead removal. To use the mixture, apply the paste to the skin area that is affected and wait for 10 minutes. When it is dried, wash your face off with water to remove blackheads.

You can use mint and turmeric juice to remove Blackheads

Dirty pores can be cleaned with both the flavors found in your kitchen counter. Turmeric and mint are used in cleaning dirty pores. Make a blend of mint tea and let it cool down first. Then add two tablespoons of the liquid mix it with a tablespoon of turmeric powder then apply it to your face. Let it rest on your face for 10 minutes then wash it off with lukewarm water.

Epsom Salt for Blackhead Removal

Epsom salt solution is very good for a cleansing solution. Epsom salt when mixed with iodine forms a bacteria-battling combo that is ideal for treating blackheads. Mix Epsom salt in water with drops of iodine and let the mixture sit. Blend it sporadically to make it dissolve the salt throughout the mixture.

Use cotton to rub the mixture into your skin and allow it to dry on your face. After the Epsom mixture has dried on your face, you can wash the mixture with warm water from your face.

Salt mixed with Lemon Exfoliant to Remove Blackheads

Lemon mixed with salt has proven to be a good cleansing agent for your skin and can help in treating blackheads. The salt and lemon mixed and scrubbed on the skin helps in pore grime removal. You can do this by mixing the two in a bowl mixed with honey, and yogurt.

Apply the mixture on the blackheads and rub it on the affected area for about 2-3 minutes to remove blackheads. When the mixture is dry on your face, you can now remove it by washing your face with warm water. For quick results is highly determined by the skin type.

We have dry skin and oily skin and the effect of blackhead on these two skins is not the same. Oily skins tend to be affected easily.
